My friends at the Dogstrust have a great video about puppies and slides, makes me feel young again.

Next door’s dog had a bit of a go at me this morning. That one is small but very, very feisty. Luckily mum picked me up to get me out of harm’s way. Otherwise, enjoyed my morning walk. Sniffed around a lot, ran on some dewy grass and looked around for squirrels.
Mum didn’t like it when I came into the house after being in the garden… she knows I like digging in the earth. I didn’t really mean to dig up the plants, though. I think my tennis ball is hiding nearby.

Well, technically I haven’t actually been anywhere, but where I haven’t been is here.. still with me? Been busy chasing squirrels, barking at cats and sniffing around other dogs… life pretty much as usual.
What is different though is that Dad has taken to giving me a good old brush down.. I like it! Mum’s happy because it means less dog hair inside the house and I get a massage. Result!
The sun’s been out a lot. I don’t mind it, but I prefer the shade. Mum’s birthday soon and I think we may be heading for the beach. Yippee!!

Been away for a few days… so not been posting. It was really mum and dad that were away, but because they weren’t around to look after me I went off to stay at Nan Margarets. I was looked after well, but it was nice to see mum and dad hadn’t forgotten me and it was really nice when they came to pick me up.
Dad took me out for a walk this morning… and it hailed! Both got a soaking. Other big news of the day was that a cat poked his head into my dog flap! The cheek of it! Lucky I was right there to bark him into oblivion. I don’t know who was more shocked.. the cat or me!

Went up a mountain on Monday. It was hard work, especially as I think mum was counting on me to pull her up too. Views were great and I met a lot of other dogs.
Been missing my early morning walks with dad as he’s gone off on holiday. But get a bonus walk mid morning when E and O take me out. It’s a first for both of them and I don’t know who’s more nervous, them or me!
Met nan for the first time, too. She keeps calling me blob… the cheek of it!

It’s only Saturday but the weekend started with a bang for me…. beginning Thursday night when I went to the pub with mum and dad! I didn’t go in, (only to get out) just sat outside in the beer garden and tried to jump on and off the tables. We had to walk through the pub on the way out, because they locked the side gate. No-one seemed to mind!
Then on Friday, because mum and dad were off work, they gave me a bath! I look whiter than white now (except for my black bits, which are supposed to be there) and I was a very good boy. I didn’t complain too much.
THEN, mum gave me a haircut! Only a little bit. It was a bit tricky, cause it tickled a bit, but I think I look pretty cool..

Was out for a walk with Dad the other evening and was minding my own business as usual, sniffing here, sniffing there when another dog had a go at me and snapped at my head! Dad pulled me away from the bully – but not before he’d nipped me around the mouth. I was very brave but if we see this particular dog we’re staying well clear.
It didn’t bother me really… dogs will be dogs and I can eat fine… so no worries.

Mum, E and O took me back to the beach yesterday. It was lovely. The sun shone and there was a nice breeze so I didn’t overheat. Was a bit cheesed off when they had a picnic and didn’t give me any but I had plenty of water.
We went a different way this time, over the cliffs. I was kept on the lead for a while cause Mum didn’t want me to get too close to the edge (I’m her baby now, she doesn’t seem to be too bothered about the other two getting close to the edge!!)
They took me off the lead when we got to the main beach… I had fun with lots of other dogs and liked it when E and O threw my favourite tennis ball across the sand.
I only barked at the one dog. Mum was a bit surprised but I was only saying hello.
So knackered when we got back that I slept most of the evening.
Saw a lovely sunrise this morning when dad took me out for earlies.
