Dad tweeted on that twitter this morning to TV’s Eamonn Holmes who was looking for a dog for his family, he suggested getting one from the dogs trust he sent pictures of me and had this reply.

Of course I am happy in Wales but I am sure Eamonn would buy me more bones than mum & dad

Well would you believe it… I’ve had my coat cut! Dad took me to a lovely lady’s house at the weekend and I came back with a lot less hair than I went with. Mum said I smelled lovely too! She doesn’t get to say that a lot these days.

I’ve been at mum and dads for less than a year, so these darker evenings are something of a surprise to them. I don’t mind going out for walkies in the dark… a walk is a walk after all.. but I think they’re getting a little shorter. At least when mum takes me. I think she’s skipping bits of our usual route because it’s not well lit. Doesn’t she know that I’ll protect her if anything happens?
Keep seeing a young Parsons Russell Terrier (like muself). Friendly.
Keep seeing a lot of cats when I go out with dad. He says I nearly caught one the other day. Nearly but not quite

Just read that there’s a newcomer to TV’s Blue Peter – a rescue dog called Barney! We get everywhere! The nine-month-old crossbreed puppy was given to one of the presenters by the Dogs Trust – the same place I came from! Read the story here

Here’s me climbing a mountain. Well, it may not have been a mountain, probably a big hill but it felt like it!

I went with mum, dad and T to the Brecon Beacons. Mum had a hard time as she’s not as fit as dad (which was a surprise to all of us). T stormed ahead. I would have too but I think mum was holding on to my lead so I could give her a pull. Honestly, humans.

Haven’t blogged for ages. Been too busy going walkies, chasing cats and rummaging around in the recycling (mum wasn’t too pleased about that one).
Got a bit confused this week as it’s been mum taking me out on the early walks and dad in the evenings. Sometimes I get so muddled up that I’m after a walk with mum at night… just because I’m used to her! She has to keep reminding me.
Everyone keeps looking at my curly coat and I think they’re planning to give me the chop – just my coat hopefully! Nothing been done yet so perhaps I’ll get away with it.
A little girl said I was the cutest dog she’s ever seen! Down to my curly coat obviously! (take heed mum and dad).
Have had the luxury of sleeping in my bed in the living room because some men have been in knocking holes in the kitchen. I get to creep out of my bed and sleep on the sofa! It’s been going on for ages… so I don’t know if the hole will be filled… mum seems annoyed by it… I think she wants it filled up. I wonder how long I’ll get to sleep on the sofa?
Heard dad say we might be going on a sponsored walk for the Dogs Trust… somewhere near Swansea I think. Will keep you posted.

Been raining a lot where I live. We were lucky today because it was a nice day.. but some days have been dodging the rain, trying to get out for my walkies. I’m not too keen on getting wet, though I don’t mind getting my paws a bit dewy after it’s been raining.
Mum and dad use a towel on me when I get in, so I don’t get my grubby paws on the furniture. Not too sure if I like it.
Went to Nan Margaret’s recently. Had fun, but don’t tell mum and dad that they fed me tidbits! Came back to earth with a bump when I got my usual dog food!
Mum’s been taking me out for my morning walks this week… and dad has been doing the evening walks. A bit different but change is a good thing! Have seens lots of cats in the roads near us. A bit frustrating when I’m on my lead and can’t chase them! One day….

It’s not me that’s been busy… but dad! We’re right at the end of Shed Week and dad’s been keeping me company all week. E is here too, of course, but I don’t get to see him until lunchtime, when he crawls out of bed! Shouldn’t complain really as he’s been taking me out on my evening walk (think mum wanted to give him something to do).
Was a bit tired yesterday. Tried to get some shut-eye during the day but it was hard when there’s so much going on!
Been up to my usual tricks: chasing cats and trying to spot a squirrel. Nan M gave me some treats when she came round recently! Am going to stay with her next week for a few days when mum and dad are away. More treats on the way then!

I’m wagging my tail at this! I wonder if mum or dad will let me go into the Waggiest Tail competition!
