My former home is looking for help for Valentine’s Day

Sponsor rescue dog, Belle from Dogs Trust Bridgend this Valentine’s Day
Faithful, really cute and remembers to send you a Valentine’s card. No, it’s not your knight in shining armour, but Sponsor Dog Belle, from Dogs Trust Bridgend who is looking for the perfect partner this February 14th.
Just £1 a week will help provide food, bedding, affection and veterinary care for your chosen Dogs Trust sponsor dog. In return you will not only receive regular news from them in the form of letters, Valentine and Christmas cards, but also a certificate in your name and regular copies of the Dogs Trust magazine Wag!
Dogs Trust Bridgend Manager Beverley Price comments:
“Belle is a four year old West Highland White who was handed over to Dogs Trust Bridgend following a family split. Sadly, because she is very scared of other dogs and people she can’t be rehomed, however she has recently made friends with a terrier called Benji, which is a giant step for Belle.
Belle has skin allergies so needs regular medicated baths, but this isn’t a problem because she loves them. She’s a bit of a tomboy and likes getting her coat muddy especially when she’s playing football with Benji. Belle is currently undertaking her Good Citizen Bronze Award which involves lots of training – she loves it and it has really increased her confidence levels.”
Dogs Trust is the UK’s largest dog welfare charity and cares for over 16,000 stray and abandoned dogs each year through its network of 18 rehoming centres in the UK and Ireland. Although thousands of dogs are rehomed every year, a few will spend their life as permanent residents at Dogs Trust as sponsor dogs.
Sponsoring a dog is an ideal way to care for a dog, even if you can’t have one yourself. Many sponsor dogs can be visited and you can even send them special treats and gifts.
There are lots of lovely dogs to choose from so if you would like to find out more about sponsoring a rescue dog from Dogs Trust, then simply call 020 7837 0006 and set it up on the phone, or go to our website at www.sponsoradog.co.uk.
